Image Sources & Takedown

Last updated: June 11, 2026

We care about using images responsibly. This page explains where the images on Lace & Dopamine come from and how to request removal if you own an image used here.

Where our images come from

  • Original photography taken by us.
  • Licensed stock images from sources such as Unsplash, Pexels, and Canva, used under their respective licenses.
  • AI generated images created for illustrative purposes. These do not depict real people, places, or events, in line with our AI Content Policy.
  • Product images sourced through official affiliate programs, such as Amazon Associates tools, used as permitted by those programs.

Attribution

Where a license requires attribution, we credit the creator in or near the image. If you believe a credit is missing or incorrect, let us know and we will fix it promptly.

Takedown requests

We make every effort to use images correctly, and mistakes can still happen. If you are the copyright owner of an image on this site and you would like it credited differently or removed, email hello@lacedopamine.com with:

  • The URL of the page where the image appears.
  • A description or copy of the image in question.
  • Proof of ownership or your authority to act for the owner.
  • Your preferred outcome: credit, link, or removal.

Our commitment: verified takedown requests are honored within 48 hours of receipt. No forms, no fights. If it’s yours and you want it down, it comes down.
